For both concepts I would like to
make a video advertisement showing the soda in usage in some way. I want to use
something along the lines of “Saving the day 24/7” as a slogan for the 7-UP
products. The challenge of making the advertisement is to
make buy more 7-UP. The target audience is consumers that buy soft
drinks as well as those that don't usually. I think that there are people out there that
enjoy it, but at the same time 7-Up isn't being advertised as much as other
soft drinks.1.
I’d like the audience to feel that they should
go out, buy 7-UP, and know that they will enjoy it.
Concept 1
I would like to use the slogan in
the sense of an action chase like video. Where somehow someone is saving the
day by rescuing a 7-UP can. Either the person going on a rescue mission for the
can or having the can being stolen from a restaurant and having a waiter or
another person run after the thief who stole it. I really want to implement the
slogan so that the advertisement can be seen as a way of saying anyone can go
on an adventure of sorts that involves being the hero.
Concept 2
The second idea is also a video,
and for my other idea, I would like to somehow incorporate the idea that 7-UP
makes you feel better when you are sick. I don't have much of an idea what to
do for this idea other that having someone saving a sick person with the soft
drink.
